معرفی رشته تکنسین پروتزهای دندانی

تکنسین‌ پروتزهای دندانی با هدف تربیت متخصصان در لابراتوارهای دندانپزشکی مراکز آموزشی، درمانی دولتی و خصوصی تاسیس و تدریس شد. کسانی که با ساختن عضو مصنوعی برای کارهای ثابت مثل دندان مصنوعی (دندانپزشک، قالب دندان را تهیه می‌کند و متخصص پروتزهای دندانی براساس قالب، دندان را می‌سازد) و ساختن اعضای مصنوعی برای کارهای متحرک مثل پلاک‌های ارتودنسی در لابراتورهای دندانسازی و کلینیک‌های دندانپزشکی فعالیت می کنند.

توانایی‌های لازم

این کار بسیار حساس ودقیق است و باید دارای دستان توانمند و ماهر باشند تا از پس این کار برآیند. درس های فیزیک، شیمی و زیست‌شناسی در این رشته ی تحصیلی اهمیت زیادی دارد و از آنجا که هدف این رشته تربیت تکنسین متخصص می باشد، این رشته تنها در مقطع کاردانی ارائه می‌شود.

بازار کار در ایران

فارغ التحصیلان این رشته می‌توانند جذب بازار کار شوند و شغل مناسبی به دست آورند. این افراد می‌توانند هم به صورت مستقل لابراتور تاسیس کنند و هم در کلینیک‌های دندانپزشکی فعالیت کنند به این دلیل که هر دندانپزشک عمومی یا ارتودنتسیت بری ساخت دندان مصنوعی یا قالب‌های ارتودنسی باید با یک تکنسین پروتزهای دندانی فعالیت کند.

حقوق و درآمد

این رشته جزو رشته های بسیار پردرآمد محسوب می شود و بسته به این که فرد فارغ التحصیل در چه جایی مشغول به کار شود درآمد متفاوتی خواهد داشت. اما خوب است بدانید که بسیاری از کشورهای خارجی نیز خواهان فارغ التحصیلان این رشته هستند و جزو رشته های با درآمد خوب است.
